Student Leadership Program
Discover your leadership path at HCC.
Students interested in building new skills or enhancing current ones are encouraged to engage in a variety of leadership programs, including workshops, guest speakers, and student conferences. These opportunities provide chances to speak with legislators in support of HCC, connect with other Maryland community college student leaders, and practice knowledge that can be transferred to future jobs, educational pursuits, and like skills.

Dragon Mondays
Dragon Mondays are monthly lunchtime workshops on various topics to help you develop your leadership skills and abilities. Check out our calendar of events for our upcoming Dragon Mondays!
Online Student Leadership Masterclass
HCC students can now participate in a free, virtual student leader masterclass which will provide them with the skills to be better student leaders. Complete the masterclass at your own pace and earn prizes! Learn more information about the Student Leadership Masterclass.
Leadership Conferences
Save the date! Our next Dragon Leadership Conference will be taking place on Friday, November 7, 2025. Stay tuned for more details. There may be additional opportunities to attend regional and national student leadership conferences.
