Dance - A.A. Degree (Transfer)
HCC's dance program is uniquely designed to provide students, dance majors and non-majors alike, with a comprehensive and diverse education in dance with classes in Modern, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Dance Improvisation and more.
The curriculum includes a rigorous and focused approach to dance technique, creative process, historical and cultural knowledge of dance, while focusing on collaborative skills and critical thinking.
The associate degree in Dance provides a rigorous and focused education to prepare you for transfer into a BA, BS, or BFA program at a four-year college or university.
Howard Community College is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Dance.
