Register for Flexible Online ESL Classes!
Flexible Online classes are 6 or 7 weeks (24–35 hours). There are no Zoom meetings, and all lessons are completed independently online in Canvas. These classes are great for students who want to learn at a time that is convenient for them. You must register by March 13 and complete the course by May 2. You can register In-Person or Online.

- Six Steps to Clearer Pronunciation *Professional English Certificate* (Level 4+)
- Business Idioms *Professional English Certificate* (Level 5+)
- Professional Writing *Professional English Certificate* (Level 5+)
- ESL Tutor Certification (Level 6+)
Important Information about Registration
- Students must be 16 or older to register.
- All students pay the listed prices. Fees are not eligible for waiver.
- Out-of-county fee is $10 and out-of-state fee is $20.
- Only ages 60+ are eligible for tuition waiver.
- No children are allowed in the testing rooms.
- All refund or transfer requests MUST BE made in person or emailed to ELC@HowardCC.edu.

Full-Time Intensive English Program
If you want to study English full time, our English Institute (EI) offers a full-time program for F1 international students and U.S. residents. Study 18 hours a week, receive special advising and support, and take part in activities to meet new friends as well as improve English skills.
