
Registration & Placement Testing
GED registration
GED registration starts on August 9th and ends on August 20th.
Classes begin on Monday, August 25th and end on Thursday, December 4th.

- All students must take a math and a reading assessment before registering for classes. This includes any previous students who were not enrolled in the previous semester.
- The assessment tests and advising will take about 3–4 hours.
- An advisor will check your results then meet with you to discuss options and placements.
NEDP registration
Click on the button below to schedule an appointment to take the qualifying tests in reading and math. These tests are designed to demonstrate the foundational skills necessary to work independently on the program modules.
- The assessment tests and advising will take about 3 hours total.
- A registration advisor will check your results, then meet with you to discuss next steps.
- If you earn the minimum scores required to join NEDP, you will be admitted to the program and assigned to an NEDP advisor. If you do not earn the minimum scores, there are several options:
- A period of self-study (before retesting).
- Tutoring (before retesting).
- Enrollment in the relevant GED classes for a more structured review before you re-test.
