National External Diploma Program (NEDP)
NEDP is a flexible, self-paced program designed for adults to earn a high school diploma without the need for traditional classes. Students complete a range of tasks independently, demonstrating their skills in areas such as reading, writing, mathematics, oral communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and other workplace competencies. Throughout the process, students meet regularly with a trained NEDP assessor to build a portfolio that proves they have acquired the necessary skills to earn a Maryland high school diploma.
