For RNs only, this course updates the knowledge and skills of delegating nurses who practice and teach in assisted living facilities and is approved by the Maryland Board of Nursing. Topics include principles of case management, delegation skills, adult education principles, legal and ethical issues, updates on regulations, and more. A copy of the Maryland Nurse Practice Act is provided. You will need to provide your valid nursing license number. You must attend 100 percent of the class (16 hours) to receive your certificate.
