Continuing Professional Education for Home Inspection
Prepare for the Maryland State Home Inspection License. Topics include structural systems; exterior and interior systems; roofing, plumbing, and electrical systems; air conditioning, insulation, and ventilation systems; fireplace heating and solid-burning systems; professional standards for home inspectors; Maryland Minimum Standards of Practice and Maryland Code of Ethics; and inspection report writing. One hundred percent attendance is required to pass the class. Standard refund policy does not apply. Refunds issued up until seven days before course start date. Part I enables current home inspectors to maintain licensure with the State of Maryland by satisfying one-half of the mandatory continuing education requirements as required by the Maryland Commission of Home Inspection (15 hours). One hundred percent attendance is required to pass the class. Topics include: how to inspect and report on the soundness of a housing structure, roofing, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and insulation. This course is offered in partnership with CCBC and will be held on Zoom. Refunds issued up until seven days before course start date. 1.5 CEUs.
Part II enables current home inspectors to maintain licensure with the State of Maryland by satisfying one-half of the mandatory continuing education requirements as required by the Maryland Commission of Home Inspection (15 hours).
