Introduction to Skilled Trades and Craft Professionalism
Learn the basic skills you need to work in the skilled trades! Our two-part series of classes will introduce students to safety techniques, math skills, tool use, and more. View our courses for the current semester below and register today.
This is the first in a two-part course that will use a nationally recognized training curriculum to prepare individuals for entry-level positions in the skilled trades. Topics to cover include: basic safety, blueprint reading, math skills, hand and power tool use, material handling, employability skills, as well as industry recognized credentials in OSHA, First Aid and CPR. Must complete both XM-106 and XM-107 to receive completion certificate. 4.8 CEUs.
This is the second in a two-part course that will use a nationally recognized training curriculum to prepare individuals for entry-level positions in the skilled trades.
