Apprenticeships

What is a Registered Apprenticeship Program?
Registered Apprenticeship (RA) follows a "earn while you learn" model that blends on-the-job training with classroom instruction at the college. RA offers a high-quality career pathway driven by industry, allowing employers to cultivate their future workforce while individuals gain paid work experience, progressive wage increases, classroom instruction, and a nationally recognized credential. Additionally, apprenticeship programs serve as an excellent recruitment and hiring platform for growing businesses. Registered Apprenticeships are industry-vetted and approved by the Maryland Department of Labor.
