Scholars Symposium

Each year, HCC students engage in a wide variety of research and scholarship across the disciplines. The purpose of the annual HCC Scholars Symposium is to share and recognize the high caliber of these students' research and scholarship, and to give students in our Honors and Undergraduate Research programs the opportunity to engage with one another and with HCC faculty within the framework of a scholarly conference. The symposium is one of the centerpieces of scholarly and intellectual life on the HCC campus, and all students and faculty are welcome and encouraged to attend.

The 2025 HCC Scholars Symposium will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025, at 2 pm in the Galleria.

Students currently in good academic standing in the Rouse Scholars, Schoenbrodt Scholars, and Undergraduate Research programs, or students who have completed a faculty-sponsored honors project may apply to present at the 2025 Scholars Symposium by completing the form below.

ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY NO LATER THAN 5 PM FRIDAY, MARCH 14, 2025. Please be sure to discuss your plans with your faculty sponsor prior to submitting your proposal.
