
Hospitality Management Apprenticeships
HCC’s Hospitality Management Apprenticeship Programs offer a holistic approach to professional development, combining academic instruction with practical experience and industry partnerships to equip apprentices with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities necessary for a successful career in hospitality management. In these 24–36 month "earn-as-you-learn" programs, apprentices will gain a solid academic foundation, essential business and technical knowledge, and on-the-job experience to work as an entry or mid-level manager in hotels, restaurants, resorts, or other facilities that provide food and beverage service or accommodations.
The Hospitality Management Apprenticeship Programs offer two occupations: Food Service Manager and Hotel and Lodging Manager.

Requirements for Admission
Standard requirements for admission are as follows:
- Be 18 years of age or older by the program start date or in the School to Apprenticeship (youth apprenticeship) program and 16 years old with parental consent.
- Earned a high school diploma or equivalent, or be a dual-enrolled high school senior.
- Have a valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation.
- Ability to meet physical job requirements.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Complete an initial program screening and employment interview.
Eligible Candidates
The Hospitality Apprenticeship programs are open to both prospective and current HCC students, as well as high school students participating in the youth apprenticeship program.
