Career Readiness Program
Career readiness is a comprehensive program designed to equip individuals with the skills and experiences needed for professional success. It includes practical workshops on resumes and interviews, networking through job fairs, insights from industry experts via lunch and learn sessions, leadership conferences that foster personal and professional growth, and hands-on experience through internships.

Travel and Civic Engagement
At HCC, learning extends beyond the classroom through opportunities to travel, explore different cultures, volunteer, and grow a sense of civic engagement and community awareness. Donations to the Educational Foundation helps ensure that these opportunities are available to all students who want to take part. Study Abroad and The Center for Service Learning are two key programs that are supported by HCC Educational Foundation fundraising efforts.
Skilled Immigrant Program
The college supports a diverse immigrant community, many of whom are highly educated but underemployed, resulting in talent underutilization that impacts both individuals and the local economy. To address this, the English Language Center’s Skilled Immigrant Program helps international professionals build career skills, navigate the U.S. job market, and connect with employers. Graduates have secured high-skilled jobs at major organizations, and continued community support is essential to keep the program free and accessible.
