Requesting a Federal Student Loan

Here at HCC, we pride ourselves in providing tremendous value for your educational investment. We strive to ensure that a college education is within reach for everyone. We encourage all students to complete the HCCEF Scholarship application to see if they qualify for an institutional scholarship. We do not pre-package loans in our initial financial aid offers.

Low-interest government loans are available to all eligible students* upon request. To request a loan, complete your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), get advised, register for six or more aid eligible credits, and submit a loan request through your Student Forms Account. Be sure to monitor your HCC email and myHCC Self Service for updates.
