Located between the port city of Baltimore, Maryland, and the United States capital, Washington, DC, Howard Community College (HCC) is a vibrant, diverse place of learning for approximately 10,000 undergraduate students each year. Our educational offerings lead to enhanced academic skills, transfer to four-year colleges and universities, or preparation for employment upon graduation. The college's English Language Center (ELC) offers language training and the English Institute, part of the ELC, provides intensive English study at beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels.
