Use of College Library Procedure - 40.01.05
College Policy Number/Title:
The Howard Community College (HCC) library provides access to books, periodicals, and media. Access to the library's holdings is available through an online public access catalog. Numerous electronic resources are available on campus for student and employee use via the campus network. From off campus, electronic resources and online reserves are available for current HCC credit students and employees via password access.
Library resources, including off-campus web access to reserve materials and electronic resources, may be used or borrowed by current HCC credit students, faculty, staff, and professors emeriti. All financial obligations to the library for fines or cost of lost or damaged materials must be met before students can access official transcripts, diplomas, class registration, or library borrowing privileges.
