Howard County Launches Rental Subsidy Program for Students
Thank you to Howard County Executive Calvin Ball, who recently announced Howard County's first Student Rental Subsidy Program that addresses the nationwide affordable housing crisis, tackles student housing insecurity and removes another financial barrier to student pathways to career success.
In partnership with the County's Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) and Columbia Housing Center (CHC), this first-of-its-kind Student Rental Subsidy Program is open to students who have been referred to the CHC by HCC's Office of Financial Aid Services.
To be eligible, current Howard Community College student applicants must first complete the FAFSA form using Code 008175 at http://studentaid.gov.
