Howard Community College Announces Certification of American Federation of Teachers
Howard Community College (HCC) announces the Public Employee Relations Board (PERB) has officially certified the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), Maryland, as the exclusive representative for the purposes of collective bargaining for full-time HCC faculty.
HCC values the contributions of its faculty members and recognizes the importance of their expertise in delivering quality education to our students. "We welcome the certification of the American Federation of Teachers as the exclusive representative for our full-time faculty," said Joe Whalen, Executive Vice President of Campus Culture and Chief Human Resources Officer.
