HCC proudly announces that Yang Yu, Ph.D. was appointed chair of the Asian Pacific American Affairs Commission by Governor Wes Moore. HCC recently took center stage at the MD Department of Labor Apprenticeship Awards Ceremony during National Apprenticeship Week. The spotlight shone particularly bright on two Howard Community College students — Tiffany Gaither and Stacy Brown — who were both honored with the prestigious Outstanding Apprentice 2023 award. "It was an incredible and humbling experience to watch Tiffany and Stacy both win this coveted award,” said Jeff Richmond, director of apprenticeship & workforce innovation.
