Howard Community College celebrated its 52nd annual commencement May 26 at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County’s Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena.

Howard Community College's class of 2023 was addressed by Governor Wes Moore.

During his speech, Governor Moore shared pride in his own history with two year colleges, as he received his Associates Degree from Valley Forge Military Academy and College. Governor Moore wears three pieces of jewelry wherever he goes, and one of them is his two-year college ring.
